Saying "I don't know" is a lot easier than giving them your sad life story. Plus, people usually expect an easy answer. They don't really want to hear all the details, which sound weak to anyone but yourself anyway. Also, if you try to tell someone you're no good at something, they will never, ever agree with you. Unless they just don't care. (Well, that's not entirely true. If someone really cares, they won't give you the automatic positive response either. But that's another issue.)
I really dislike the whole, "where are you at in life, where are you going?" line of questions. Because I hate to make excuses. I don't hate that people ask, I just wish that I had something better to tell them. When you have to defend a position you don't believe in, it's a losing battle. But I don't want a big amazing career and a beautiful mansion on a hill either.
"So, what do you want?"
I don't know. =P

Truth Hurts
Har hars. I don't know if this is funny or corny. The authority of the Bible can be another touchy subject though, so I was trying to make it funny.
That Bible kinda looks like a big ice cream sandwich.

Oh, The Colors
One thing bad about working indoors too much is that your eyes become more sensitive to sunlight, and you have to squint just to keep them open. Takes awhile to adjust. It makes you feel like Gollum coming out of his caves.

Motivation
I guess I'll keep doing these comics for a while. They're easy to draw, totally random, and don't really even have to be funny. Stick people are just fun.

Guess What
Everything in the stickman world is 3D, except for their bodies.
Hm, I guess they all wear a default set of clothes. Also, the only racial differences observable would be in their hairstyles.

Leave it to Bieber
Crappy until proven otherwise?
It can be pretty fun to mock something along with everyone else, even if you feel indifferent about it. Then again, it's equally fun to mock something to go against the popular flow, just to rile people up. We like contention. More and more I just want to treat it as a spectator sport, and watch from safety. Or make comics about such things.
By the way, after drawing this comic I had to go to YouTube and check out one of Bieber's songs. It wasn't my cup of tea, but I did think it was kinda catchy.

Wordplay
I witnessed someone being made fun of for using "butt" instead of the other word, and I thought it was ridiculous, hence this comic. On the other end of the spectrum, when I was a kid I would get in trouble if I said butt. Wowza! We had to use words like bottom or rear. Or hinder, which I've never heard anyone else say, though it is in the dictionary.
As with any so-called "gray area," I'll personally remind myself of Proverbs 16:2: "All a man's ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the Lord."

Those Commercials
Sounds pretty rough. On the other hand, y'all get about five times as much variety in clothing choices as we do.

Checkout Line
This is from a SAD blog (which shall remain nameless!) I started and quit last year. I think it's funny, because sometimes when I'm waiting in a line I feel like my head's about to explode. Of course, it isn't super funny at the time.

Angel Warrior
I drew this for my brother Kyle as a T-shirt design. He wanted a battle-scarred, shirtless angel. If we have guardian angels his might be more battered than most. ;)
