Rogue Bear

Oh no, a polluting polar bear!

This is my snarky response to all those nice folks who hop aboard the climate politics bandwagon and think they're "going green," from the plush confines of their offices. Do they even care about the animals, or do they just like to think they're part of a grand rescue-the-planet movement? It's like one big energy/environment/climate mishmash. Not to knock those who sincerely care about the environment, of course. But some organizations seem to be driven by that other "green" movement, and abuse their influence over others by preaching apocalyptic scenarios or painting a pretty picture of global unity. Maybe they mean well, but it is a powerful marketing tool.

Also, the people who like to get more in touch with nature by harvesting their own food or hunting or camping out in the wild are looked at as strange or primitive by many. Hm. (Unfortunately there are plenty of litterbugs mixed into that crowd too!) In the end, the earth is the Lord's, and He's going to recycle it someday.
End of mini-rant.

p.s. I'm not making fun of polar bears. The only animal I love to make fun of is the goat. I hate seeing species become endangered, but I also don't like it when humans are called parasites. I better stay out of the political realm.
