Catchwords

Yes, I've actually been sick of "straw man" for some time now. I shouldn't let others ruin words for me, but yowza some people really like that term. I think they use it just so they don't have to counter an argument. It seems as though some folks try to inflate their views with flashy terms and relevant catch phrases, to try to sound more scholarly. And then someone else will come along and state something simply and to the point, with much greater impact. At least, that's my opinion as a silent observer. A scarecrow, who desires a brain. (Heehee, I kid.)
